“I don’t need feminism to give me an undeserved pay increase for working less hours than a man. I want equality, not special privilege! P.S. Making food for my boyfriend when he comes tired from work won’t make me less than I am.” ^_^

Wow okay good bye

bang! my brains, all over the wall.
nevermind that if feminism never existed, you probably wouldnt have a job in the first place, you probably wouldnt be allowed to use that camera or that computer, and you’d be severely punished for the shirt you’re wearing. i’m talking jail time, dear. plus it looks like maybe your hair doesnt quite go down past your shoulders, love. are you a prostitute? because only prostitutes have hair that short in a pre-feminism world. i personally don’t think less of prostitutes in any way, but i have a sneaking feeling you do. but sure, yeah. you don’t need feminism for anything. it’s such a burden on you to be able to have the rights to publicly voice this insane opinion.

Hard-travellingtoo,When in American history have women ever been denied the right to use the latest technology? Also when were American women put in jail for not dressing in a way that was deemed “appropriate” at the time? By the way I’m not asking when they were shamed, I’m asked when they were thrown in jail as you claimed. Furthermore why is this woman’s opinion insane because it differs from yours? I suppose in this day in age a woman can only be taken seriously by you if her veiws align with feminism. Because women are helpless and feminism is their savior right? You sound like the real misogynist.

i’m going to cry. you’re right, i’m a real misogynist.
LET ME TELL YOU A STORY
when my great aunt Barbie was my age, she married a man named Dennis. Dennis was a good man, he acted how me was raised and he went to church every week, sometimes twice. she was maddly in love. they have been married for 50 years, and he died two months ago. see, it took 50 years for my great aunt barbie to realize that dennis the great guy, and every great guy that her friends and sisters married, weren’t really great guys. i have a lot of great examples of why, but i’ll go ahead and just touch up on your points. the latest technology when she was first married was a little different than ours, admittedly, but she was not allowed to drive the family car, and had to have special permission/my uncle dennis had to be there for her to use the tv and the phone. and i noticed that you were very specific in noting that AMERICAN women are not thrown in jail for wearing the wrong clothes. sure it doesn’t happen to that extreme these days but i assure you it was a thing that happened welcome to colonial america. and on a global perspective this is still a thing TODAY. while mostly for religious purposes, and certainly not every woman who adheres to these laws feels oppressed or wants anything different AND THATS OKAY, but there are a lot of women who do want to be free to wear what they want without fear of persecution and that’s not okay. and yes, in my eyes a woman can not be taken seriously if she is anti-feminist because the only way you are anti-feminist today is if you are completely ignorant of what is happening around the world to women every day, or you don’t care about what is happening to women around the world every day so yeah i think that’s pretty shitty. and women are NOT helpless and feminism isn’t what you appear to think it is because “HOW DARE PEOPLE TRY TO HELP OPPRESSED WOMEN WHO ARE TREATED UNFAIRLY BY A SYSTEM THAT HAS BEEN SET IN STONE FOR HUNDREDS OF YEARS THAT ONE PERSON BY THEMSELVES COULDN’T POSSIBLY OVERCOME” doesn’t make any fucking sense. feminism is there to help you. not because you’re weak, not because anyone pities you, but because you can’t do it by yourself. if the mulit-billion dollar company you work for pays you less and tells you “its your job to clean the bathrooms because you’re a girl” (which yes, has actually happened to me), you can’t take that on by yourself- but a large group of people can. all you can do is walk out so you’re not treated like shit anymore, but that company stays the same. they do they same thing to the next women who gets hired there. no one is trying to save you, you’re not a damsel in distress, but there are people trying to help you, work side by side with you, and ENCOURAGE YOU to do the right thing.
